Police detain one man in connection with latest shooting in Roaring Creek

By Aaron Humes: According to police, one man has been detained in connection with a report of attempted murder in the Another World section of Roaring Creek village, Cayo District.

Initial investigation revealed that Erasmus Lino Jr, 20, was walking on an unnamed street in the Another World area along with his girlfriend when a lone man walking in the opposite direction fired several shots at them hitting Erasmus Lino Jr to the right foot.

Lino was treated and discharged and his injuries are classified as wounding. Police investigations continue.
