Punta Gorda Town Councilor Moses Cal charged with wounding

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that Punta Gorda Town Councilor Moses Cal has been charged in relation to a domestic dispute.

Following a report made against him on Monday, March 6, Cal was officially arrested and charged with wounding.

The victim alleges that Cal punched her several times in the face and to the side of the head.

The incident has drawn the ire of the People’s United Party (PUP) which issued a statement yesterday calling for his immediate removal from the PG Town Council.
