International News: Femicide rates rise in Mexico

Mexico faces many challenges including cartel violence, immigration and many others.

Residents believe that femicide cases has not been addressed accordingly.

Activists noted that the Mexican government lacks policies for women.

Marking International Women’s day on March 8, women took through the streets of Mexico City calling for an acceleration in women equality.
