U.S. Ambassador celebrates International Women’s Day at art exhibit

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On March 8, 2023, in honor of International Women’s Day, U.S. Ambassador Michelle Kwan joined the Belize American Chamber of Commerce at an art exhibit at the Cayo Welcome Center.

The event celebrated how women can lead and succeed in business, civil society, and the arts.

“The event also highlighted how the U.S. and Belize can work together to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment while expanding the trade and investment opportunities between our two countries,” the U.S. Embassy noted.
