Body of missing man Freddy Chicas found near 8 miles community

By Breaking Belize News Staff: On Friday, police confirmed that the body found just after the 8 miles community on the George Price Highway was that of 21-year-old Freddy Chicas.

Chicas’ body was recovered from among some mangroves on a feeder road off the highway by a search party comprised of loved ones.

His body had a single gunshot wound to the head and was in the early stages of decomposition.

Chicas had last been seen on Sunday, March 5, and reported missing on Thursday, March 9.
