Belize play Costa Rica in U-19 NORCECA Continental Championship in Guatemala

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize play Costa Rica in their second match at the U-19 NORCECA Boys Continental Championship at ‘el Domo’ in Guatemala City on Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm.

On Monday, the U-19 Boys Team fell 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-22) to the United States in the opener Group A.

Mexico blanked Costa Rica 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-16) in Group A as well.

In Group B, Guatemala defeated Suriname 3-0 (25-19, 25-8, 25-14) while Puerto Rico bounced back after falling in the first set to beat Nicaragua 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-20).

Earlier on Tuesday, Puerto Rico collected their second win defeating Suriname 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-19).

The United States just won their second match beating Mexico 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20). Mexico are now 1-1.

After the Belize-Costa Rica game, Guatemala play Nicaragua at 8:00 pm.
