By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service says that while a cold front north of Belize is not expected to cross the country directly, it is contributing to moist and unstable conditions after supporting thunderstorms countrywide Tuesday night.
Skies today will be sunny with some cloudy spells and cloudy at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for a few over inland areas and tonight in the south and along the coast.
High temperatures are forecast at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees over inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; seas are running light chop.
Tides will be low at 8:51 this morning and 11:48 this evening and high at 3:17 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:02 this evening and rises at 6 a.m. Thursday morning.
For Thursday, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mainly over the south in the morning. The rest of the day sees generally fair weather and isolated showers.
