Four Belizean entrepreneurs selected for U.S. State Department’s YLAI program

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The U.S. Embassy Belize extended congratulations to 4 Belizean entrepreneurs that have been selected for the U.S. State Department’s Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship program. 

Melissa Guerra, Madeline Guerra, Deshane Lopez and Madeline Martinez will participate in the YLAI program.

The YLAI Fellowship Program empowers innovative business and social entrepreneurs from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada by working with Host Organizations across the United States for 3 months.

YLAI promotes U.S. business models, increases trade, encourages job creation, and builds lasting and sustainable networks of young entrepreneurs.
