China is attempting to revive its economy after a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
The country is 1 of the last major countries to reopen.
In addition, visa free entry will resume at several destinations including Hainan island.
Chinese officials say that they have improved measures for remote testing of visitors to China.
Last December, China abandoned its strict zero-covid policy that included sudden lockdowns.
