By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man who allegedly stabbed his brother several times causing severe injuries has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
Twenty-two-year-old Kurston Howard appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, charged with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm.
No plea was taken as the matter will be trialed in the High Court of Belize and bail was granted in the sum of $4,000 plus two sureties of $2,000 each. He was unable to post bail and was remanded to prison until April 13.
Kurston Howard and his older brother, 36-year-old Darwin Howard got into a dispute on Saturday, March 11.
Kurston reportedly took a knife cutting Darwin once under the left eye and stabbing him in the stomach and chest.
A medical officer certified that Darwin had a punctured lung but was listed in stable condition.
