Police officer charged for shooting at family home

By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged one of their own following a domestic dispute early this morning that later led to gunfire at the residence.

According to Police, Officer Jarrell Young of Roaring Creek, Cayo District, was in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend when the homeowner, identified as Isiah Logan, intervened. Police arrived to take Young off the property, but at about 4 a.m., someone came and fired a weapon three times at the house, injuring 24-year-old Isiah Logan with a graze to the left middle ring finger.

Young now stands accused of aggravated assault, wounding and damage to property.
