By Benjamin Flowers: Police are asking the public to help locate 15-year-old Ginellie Mai, a resident of San Pablo Village, Orange Walk District.

Mai was reported missing on Wednesday but had last been seen on Tuesday, March 14 around 1:00 p.m. when she said she was headed to school to help with washing dishes.

Mai never returned home despite her mother texting her and her sending a reply saying that she would be home “in a while.”

Mai is described as being of Hispanic descent, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen wearing long black pants, a pink blouse, and a school bag.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.

Police have not yet shared an official photo of Mai. Breaking Belize News will be sharing that photo as soon as it becomes available.
