Belize Weather: Warm and mostly dry conditions prevail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today then clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees over inland areas and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots. Seas are running choppy to moderate.

Tides will be high at 7:38 this morning and 6:22 this evening and low at 11:50 this morning. The sun sets at 6:03 this evening and rises at 5:58 Saturday morning.

Saturday’s outlook is for mainly fair and warm weather at first, then a few showers and thunderstorms will develop mostly over inland areas on Saturday afternoon. Activity will increase and spread to most places on Saturday night.
