By Breaking Belize News Staff: A cold front currently affecting Belize is expected to result in mostly cloudy skies, with showers and thunderstorms continuing primarily offshore and along coastal and some southern areas tonight into tomorrow morning. Due to gusty winds and locally rough seas, especially near heavy showers and thunderstorms, a small craft caution has been issued.
Marine conditions report winds from the north-northwest at 10-20 knots, becoming north-northeast and gusty, with choppy to moderate seas and waves between 3-6 feet. The outlook for the coming days suggests cloudy skies with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms developing mostly over southern and some coastal areas on Monday night. Scattered showers are expected across the country on Tuesday.
Temperature forecasts for tonight and tomorrow are as follows: coastal areas will see lows of 72 degrees Fahrenheit and highs of 81 degrees Fahrenheit; inland regions will experience lows of 67 degrees Fahrenheit and highs of 82 degrees Fahrenheit; and hills can expect lows of 62 degrees Fahrenheit and highs of 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
Astronomical conditions indicate that the sun will set at 6:03 PM today and rise at 5:56 AM tomorrow. The moon will set at 5:18 PM tomorrow and rise at 5:17 AM.
