Fire causes damage at St. Mathew’s Government Primary School

By BBN Staff: A fire at St. Mathew’s Government Primary School has gutted one of the school’s structures.

Residents alerted Breaking Belize News (BBN) to the fire, which started sometime before 5 a.m. on Saturday.

The building in which the fire started was completely destroyed based on images submitted to BBN.

An official report on the fire is yet to be released by authorities. Other details of the cause of the fire and extent of the damage have yet to be ascertained.
