Former Prime Minister Said Musa celebrates 79th birthday

By BBN Staff: Former Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Said Musa is celebrating his 79th birthday today.

Minister of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, Francis Fonseca; extended birthday wishes to former PM Musa via Facebook. “Thanks for your service to our Country and Party. Our very best wishes to you today and always!” Fonseca posted on his page.

Musa served as Prime Minster from 1998 to 2008. He retired from politics officially in 2020. He has contested 10 consecutive general elections. He first won the Fort George seat in 1979 and was only defeated once by former UDP leader Dean Lindo in 1984.
