By Breaking Belize News Staff: A relatively moist and unstable airflow prevails according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be cloudy with sunny spells and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers will develop offshore this morning, moving to coastal and inland areas by afternoon and evening and in the south and along some coastal areas tonight and Tuesday morning.
High temperatures are to peak at 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 83 degrees in inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 72 degrees along the coast; 67 degrees in inland areas and 62 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty and seas are running rough. A small craft warning is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas in northerly swells.
Tides will be high at 9:21 this morning and 9:28 this evening and low at 3:10 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:03 this evening and rises at 5:56 Tuesday morning.
Tuesday sees cloudy intervals with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop mainly along coastal areas.
