Ministry of Education: National Healthy Start Feeding program benefiting over 2,000 students

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology noted that over 2,000 students are benefiting from the pilot National Healthy Smart feeding program.

“Ensuring that students get a nourishing meal daily while they are at school is key to getting students to come to school and stay in school,” the Ministry noted.

The program serves 9 primary schools in Corozal, Orange Walk, and Belize Districts and 6 high schools in Belize City and Stann Creek.
