By Benjamin Flowers: Efforts are currently underway to get assistance for Danette Young, Jeremy Garbutt, and their two children, who lost everything they owned in a house fire earlier this month.
No one from the Monkey River family was hurt during the incident on March 14; however, the situation deprived them of even the basics such as clothing and shelter.
A gofundme page has been set up to assist in getting funds to the family during this time of need, which runs in tandem with a drive to receive donations of clothing.
Relatives took to social media appealing for assistance noting that Danette was in the process of opening a gift shop and lost her entire stock, while Jeremy, a tour guide, lost his fishing equipment.
Those wishing to assist are urged to call Danette Young at 624-8639 or make a donation to the gofundme page.
