New Digital Connect Center opened in Cayo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On March 21, 2023, The Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics and E-Governance launched the Teodoso Ochoa Digital Connect Center.

This is the 2nd center to be inaugurated since the start of the year.

The center will provide a space for the San Ignacio community and students to access the internet and other digital tools, thereby helping to lessen the digital divide.

Earlier this month, the first Digital Connect Center was launched at the Community Library in San Estevan Village in the Orange Walk District.

The Digital Connect Centers is part of a national commitment from all the key collaborators to promote digital inclusion for disadvantaged communities.
