Galen University’s Provost, Dr. Cynthia Aird recognized by National Women’s Commission

Around the country, outstanding Belizean women are being highlighted for their dedication and commitment to Belize’s growth and development.

The National Women’s Commission is hosting the Outstanding Women’s Award 2023.

Galen University’s Provost, Dr. Cynthia Eve Aird is being recognized for being a transformational and visionary leader in higher education.

Dr. Aird has spent over 25 years working in higher education in Belize, specifically in teacher education and quality assurance in Belize at the University of Belize (Belize’s national university), Sacred Heart Junior College and at Galen University.

The Galen University family and Galen Eagles extended congratulations to Dr. Aird for her contributions to excellence in higher education in Belize.
