By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, during the budget presentation at the House of Representatives, Minister of National Defence and Border Security and Corozal Southeast Area Representative, Florencio Marin thanked the Government and people of Taiwan for their support in providing a loan for the improvement of infrastructural works in Corozal.
Minister Marin also gave an update on ongoing projects in Corozal including the upgrading of the Remate road, the Corozal-Sarteneja road.
Of the 30 miles to be paved on the Corozal-Sarteneja road, Marin noted that 12 miles are already paved.
In addition, the bridge at Laguna Seca and Pueblo Nuevo are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
