Football Federation of Belize says tickets for Belize-Guatemala match sold out

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) said on Friday after 11:00 am that tickets for the Belize-Guatemala Concacaf game have been sold out.

“Tickets for Bze vs Guatemala SOLDOUT,” said a Bristol board sign at the FFB gate in Belmopan.

According to FFB sources the FFB Stadium holds 3,500 seating fans. That means the venue will be ram packed tonight for the 8:00 pm Concacaf match.

“Tickets are officially SOLD OUT!” the FFB said in a social media post on Friday at 11:31 am.

“We take this opportunity to thank each and every person who’s coming out tonight to support our Jaguars!! Let’s hear the roar of the Jaguars tonight at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan!”

This is the ninth time since 2007 that the Belize Men’s National Team (BMNT) are playing Guatemala. Let’s hope this gives us our first victory over the neighbouring country as the best scores have been two 0-0 draws in 2013. One of those draws qualified Belize to the Gold Cup as the fourth-place team in the Copa Centroamericana in Costa Rica and left Guatemala out.
