Salvadoran national living in Belize charged with firearm offenses

By Benjamin Flowers: This week, police arrested and charged a Salvadoran national living in Hattieville with firearms-related offenses.

Police say that on Thursday, March 23, 34-year-old Ivan Jose Alvarez Amaya was formally arrested and charged for kept unlicensed firearm and kept ammunition without a gun license.

His arrest was one of several made this week with relation to firearms.
