Toledo Agriculture Department conducts presentation on ‘Agrarian Diagnostic in Southern Belize’ for Southern farmers

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Forty-nine persons attended a presentation on the ‘Agrarian Diagnostic in Southern Belize’ that was conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise’s (MAFSE) Toledo Agriculture Department in collaboration with the International Development Bank (IDB) and the Economic Development Project.

“The agrarian system is a concept to understand the agriculture and agro-economy in one delimited area,” MAFSE said in a social media post.

The presentation was facilitated by consultant Charlotte Boston at the Toledo Cacao Growers Association processing facility in the Toledo District on Friday, March 24.
