Belizean Monique Lamb makes waves becoming first Belizean woman to captain the Belize Aggressor Dive Yacht

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Divers Alert Network (DAN) announced today that Belizean Monique Lamb has made history by becoming the first Belizean woman to captain the Belize Aggressor III®dive yacht.

The DAN took to its official Facebook page today to congratulate Lamb, who started working as a dive master on the Aggressor and worked towards earning her Master of Yachts 200-ton Power certification from International Yacht Training in Florida.

“And now, she’s making history as the FIRST female Belize Aggressor captain in the operation’s 36-year history!” the DAN said.

The organization also praised Lamb, who holds a degree in Marine Biology from the University of Belize, for achieving her lifelong dream of becoming a boat captain, emphasizing that she now inspires young girls all over Belize to follow their dreams and break barriers.
