12 teams qualify for Gold Cup Prelims

French Guiana National Team qualified to Gold Cup Prelims 

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: With 13 teams confirmed for the Concacaf Gold Cup, at the end of the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League group stage 12 others have booked spots in the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims. Three of the 12 will qualify for the final berths in the 2023 Gold Cup scheduled for June-July 2023.

The 12 consist of the four third-place teams from League A, the four second-place teams from League B, and the four first-place teams from League C.

The countries are Saint Lucia, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Trinidad and Tobago, Martinique, Grenada, Curacao, and Suriname.

French Guiana qualified by virtue of finishing second in Group D which included Belize.
