Man pleads guilty to producing child pornography, awaits sentence in High Court

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man has pleaded guilty in the High court of Belize to a single count of producing child pornography.

Ernest Gentle appeared in court on Tuesday, where he admitted to video chatting with a 13-year-old girl and coercing the minor into posing nude before taking a photo of her genitals and circulating it.

Justice Antionette Moore is set to deliver Gentle’s sentence on Friday, March 31.
