Ministry of Human Development hosts “Let’s talk and paint” in celebration of Women’s Month

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Month of March is celebrated as Social Work Month and Women’s Month.

As a way of showing appreciation to officers for their continued hard work, dedication, and commitment, the Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs through its Women and Family Support Department hosted an officers event, “Let’s talk and paint.”

The activity provided an opportunity for colleagues to discuss and provided an atmosphere for self-care and de-stressing.

Guided by Artist Kelvin Baizar, the officers created art that will serve as a reminder of their resilience and the light that they shine in the lives of their clients.

“In closing the month, a heart-felt appreciation goes to all Social Workers and Women from near and far,” the Ministry said.
