President Tsai Ing-wen departs Taiwan en route to ‘Meeting Democratic Partners, Fostering Shared Prosperity’ tour

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Taiwan’s President, Tsai Ing-wen is departing Taiwan on her “Meeting Democratic Partners, Fostering Shared Prosperity” tour.

The President will visit Belize from April 2-4, 2023.

 “We are now en route to visit our diplomatic allies Guatemala and Belize. The theme of this trip, “Meeting Democratic Partners, Fostering Shared Prosperity,” expresses our determination to foster deeper exchange and cooperation between Taiwan and our allies,” the President said.

The Taiwan Embassy in Belize says that it looks forward to welcoming President Tsai on her second visit to Belize.
