Benque Viejo police searching for high profile prisoner Sergio Pineda after escape at court

By Aaron Humes: Guatemalan-born 20-year-old Sergio Pineda, charged with two separate murders in 2021, is reportedly the subject of a manhunt along with another unnamed prisoner after they escaped custody this morning.

While further information is still being sought, we understand the men were scheduled to appear in court in Benque Viejo Town and managed to get away.

Pineda was charged with two Benque Viejo murders in 2021, those of Gonzalo Rosado and Wayne Cadle and was detained in Guatemala.

He is considered dangerous and anyone seeing him should call the police.
