By Breaking Belize News Staff: On Friday, March 31, 2023, Galen University will host Eagle Day 2023, a vibrant and exciting Expo and Fun Day at its main campus, located at 64 miles George Price Highway. The event runs from 9 am to 5 pm and offers a wide range of activities designed to engage and entertain students, faculty, and the community.
From 9 am to 2 pm, attendees can explore various information booths showcasing Galen University’s programs and initiatives. Student club booths will provide insight into the extracurricular opportunities available on campus, while the Eagle Egg Hunt and fun sports activities like teqball promise a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
The Harpy Corner will be a special area dedicated to the university’s mascot, the Eagle, while the “Meet our Athletes” section will introduce attendees to Galen’s talented sports teams, including the Eagle Paddlers and Eagle Ballers.
Eagle entrepreneurs will also be present, displaying their innovative ideas and projects. For those with a competitive spirit, UNO and NBA 2K/FIFA tournaments will be organized throughout the day.
As the event transitions into the afternoon, the much-anticipated Eagle Foam and Water Fete will kick off at 1 pm, running until 4 pm. This fun-filled celebration promises to be the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the day’s festivities.
