Police issue official wanted notice for escapees Sergio Pineda and Piers Castillo

By Aaron Humes: Police have officially warned citizens to be on the lookout for Sergio Pineda, a 20-year-old, and Piers Castillo, a 25-year-old, who have escaped from police custody in Benque Viejo.

This morning at around 10:40 a.m., they were both remanded to prison after appearing in court before they escaped from a holding area nearby.

Pineda has been charged with two separate murders in 2021, those of Gonzalo Rosado and Wayne Cadle, who were ambushed and robbed of their vehicles before being shot dead after being lured to a deserted area by a female minor.

If either man is seen kindly call 911 as they are considered dangerous.
