International News: Pope to be discharged from hospital on Saturday

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Pope Francis is expected to be discharged from the hospital on Saturday, BBC reports.

The Pontiff will return to his Vatican depending on the results of final tests carried out today.

On Wednesday, he was admitted to Gemelli Hospital in Rome on Wednesday with “respiratory complications”.

He was later diagnosed to be suffering from bronchitis.

A statement from the Vatican noted that the Pope is expected at St Peter’s Square for Palm Sunday Mass this weekend as he prepares for events through Easter week.
