Shooting victim identified as Justin Pollard; circumstances still unclear

By Aaron Humes: Police say they continue investigating the death of Justin Michael Pollard, 34, a businessman from the Belama area of Belize City, after he was found shot dead in a vehicle on Thursday morning.

The parked Toyota 4-Runner was found between Miles 13 and 14, Sandhill, near the Eagle JEM Estate on the Philip Goldson Highway and inside, Pollard in the driver’s seat holding a firearm in his right hand. His body had sustained a gunshot wound.

The circumstances surrounding Pollard’s death remain open as police investigations continue.
