By Breaking Belize News Staff: A gusty and mostly dry easterly airflow is prevailing according to the National Meteorological Service. The forecast is for sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight, skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Little to no rainfall is expected.
High temperatures range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 93 degrees over inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots with higher gusts and sea state is moderate to rough. Small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.
Tides are high as of 8 a.m. A low tide occurs at 1:13 this afternoon followed by a high tide at 7:20 this evening. The sun sets at 6:06 this evening and rises at 5:47 Sunday morning.
Outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for fair, windy, and mostly dry weather to prevail.
