Taiwan donates 5,000 laptops to Belize

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: President of Taiwan, Dr. Tsai Ing-wen is in Belize forging deeper ties and cooperation between Belize and Taiwan.

Today, President Tsai presented Prime Minister John Briceño with a donation of 5,000 laptops from Taiwanese manufacturers.

The laptops will be used to assist Belize in improving learning resources for vulnerable groups such as children and women in rural areas.

Belize and Taiwan enjoy friendship and bilateral relations spanning almost 34 years.
