Belize Weather: Fair, warm and dry as winds pick up slightly

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a fresh to strong and mostly dry east to southeasterly airflow is prevailing. The 24-hour forecast is for mostly sunny skies today. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy to clear. Little to no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 94 degrees over inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 15 to 25 knots and sea state is rough. A small craft warning is in effect for strong, gusty winds and rough seas.

Tides will be high at 9:31 a.m. and 10:09 p.m. A low tide occurs at 4:04 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:06 this evening and rises at 5:44 a.m. Thursday morning.

Expect fair, warm, and mostly dry conditions to prevail on Thursday.
