Belizean Darlon Usher joins family of Trailblazers of Christian reggae band, Christafari

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Belizean audio engineer, Darlon Usher has joined the family of trailblazers of Christian reggae band, Christafari.

Christafari is a Christian reggae band founded in 1989 and has toured around the world including Belize sharing the gospel through their music.

In November, 2022, Christafari was in Belize participating in the Gospel Fest.

“Thank you God. When I am unfaithful you are faithful when I don’t understand, you already wrote the script. When I doubt, you assure me everything will be alright. You orchestrated this story before I was born, and laid the foundation for it to be so.

“Even when I don’t see it you’re working”

Mark Mohr and Christafari, thank you for saying yes and taking a chance on me. It’s nothing that I deserve but all God. I’m overjoyed and honored to be apart of this mission, and look forward to serving along you,” Usher stated.

Usher also thanked his family for supporting him and keeping the faith.

“And to my country, my beautiful Belize: I promise to make you proud. I know that this is my calling, so I promise not to let you down,” Usher added.

Usher will join the band in their tour of Israel from April 22 to May 5, 2023.
