Man accused of shooting up woman’s house remanded to prison

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man is on remand at the Belize Central Prison after being accused of shooting up a woman’s house.

Forty-year-old Denver Skeet appeared along with his attorney Ronell Gonzalez in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today, charged with a single count of aggravated assault.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge, but due to the nature of the offense bail could not be granted at the Magistrate level and he was remanded until June 7.

Skeet stands accused of approaching a house on Ebony Street Belize City on April 2, and firing five shots at someone sitting on the veranda.
