Xaibe Villager stabbed after argument among friends on Holy Thursday night

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A resident of Xaibe Village in the Corozal District is recovering from stab wounds allegedly inflicted upon him by a duo of men he was reportedly socializing with on Holy Thursday night.

According to police reports, Victor Villamil, was at a residence in the village around 11:30 p.m. with a group when an argument ensued and he was attacked by two other men who inflicted stab wounds to his body.

He was taken to the Corozal Community Hospital and then later transported to the Northern Regional Hospital for further medical attention. Police have one man in custody and are seeking the other suspect in the incident. Police investigation continues.
