By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Benque United defeated Internacional FC (Bandits) 2-1 in a come-from-behind win at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen in the Premier League of Belize.

Jalen Myers opened the score for Internacional to take the lead in the 34’.

Internacional stayed in front until the 68’ when Danny Jimenez tied the match.

Internacional seemed headed for their third point of the season, but Colombian Anderson Cordova hammered the winner for Benque United in the 90’+ 5.

The 2-1 win puts Benque at 18 points and in fifth place ahead of Champions Altitude (16) who fell 2-1 at home to Port Layola.

Internacional remains in the cellar with two points.
