Dangerous guns stolen from Los Lagos home, police issue warning

By Aaron Humes: There is dangerous weaponry potentially on the streets after a burglary which occurred overnight between Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Thieves apparently broke into the residence of Cornie Teichrob in Los Lagos and stole items valued at $38,000.

The items stolen were contained in a safe, including a semi-automatic rifle, a pump-action shotgun and live rounds. The safe also contained laptops, jewelry, liquors, cell phones, and more. The burglars also stole a DVR, which contained footage captured by surveillance cameras.

The suspects reportedly cut the wires of the chainlink fence and then pried open the burglar bar and wooden doors to gain entry.

Police investigation continues.
