Justin Michael Pollard was killed by gunshot wound – but how?

By Aaron Humes: Investigations still continue into the sudden death of 34-year-old Justin Michael Pollard, businessman of Belize City.

Pollard’s body was found inside an SUV off the Philip Goldson Highway outside of Los Lagos last week, with a gunshot wound to the side of the head.

A post-mortem examination found that the wound caused fatal acute cranioencephalic trauma, that is, an injury that immediately caused loss of consciousness and impairment of cognitive ability including judgment.

But what has not been established is how the wound was inflicted, and what led up to Pollard’s death, which is the subject of continuing police investigation.
