International News: Britain’s oldest employee clocking in for shifts at 90 years old

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Britain’s oldest employee, Vic Sutton is still clocking in for shifts at age 90.

Sutton is a calibration engineer who has witnessed World War II and has seen 17 prime ministers walk through 10 Downing Street during 76 years of working.

“My family keeps asking when I’m going to stop, but I genuinely just love coming to work.

“I love my family to bits, but I have no intention of giving up just yet. As long as I remain fit enough – both in body and mind – I hope to still be working when I hit the big century,” Sutton said.

Sutton celebrated his birthday with fellow colleagues at Teepee Electrical and said he hoped to continue working until he is 100.

His colleagues said he is a “walking, talking, inspiration”.
