Man killed in hit and run near Tubal on the Philip Goldson Highway

By Aaron Humes: A man from San Ignacio Town has been identified to Breaking Belize News (BBN) as the victim of an apparent hit and run Thursday night in Ladyville, Belize District.

Hector Cho was hit between miles 11 and 12, near Tubal Vocational School, on the Philip Goldson Highway and flung to the pavement. He sustained severe injuries and reportedly died on the spot.

Police and scenes of crime personnel have processed the scene and an investigation is underway into the cause of this fatal accident.
