BREAKING: Saturday night shooting in Belize City sends two men to hospital

By Aaron Humes: Two Belize City men were shot less than an hour ago on Amara Avenue according to a Police report.

At about 9:25 p.m. police received information that a shooting on Amara Avenue, near Baba’s Shop. The victims were allegedly transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Police have since identified the victims as Alion Domingo, seen with one gunshot injury to the abdomen and Ronlee Petillo with gunshot wound to the neck and gunshot wound to the left shoulder. Both remain in treatment at this hour.

Petillo faces multiple charges in relation to incidents reported earlier this year. A Police investigation is underway.
