Second suspect in Belize City robbery case remanded to prison

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Twenty-year-old Vince Gill, the second suspect in the robbery of Alexander Gladden has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison.

Gill was arraigned on a single count of robbery in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court charged with a single count of robbery to which he pleaded not guilty.

Bail was denied and Gill was remanded where he joins co-accused 21-year-old Denmark Dejaun Davis. They will appear together at their next court date, which has been set forJune 5.

On March 23, Gladden was on Mahogany Street, Belize City, where he was robbed at gunpoint of his bicycle, cell phone, and $20 in cash.
