Suspected drug plane did land; reports say bodies were found as well but where are the drugs?

By Aaron Humes: Roughly a week after it first came onto Belizean radar, burnt remains of a suspected drug plane were discovered earlier today in a remote area near the southern border.

According to Channel 5 News, the bodies of two individuals have been discovered as well, however, there was no mention of the suspected cargo.

Police and Belize Defence Force teams have been active in the area since Monday looking for the plane and cargo. Video from the area shows a makeshift airstrip cleared, but it appears the aircraft missed the landing site and crash-landed nearby. Investigations continue.
