International News: 11 people die from heat stroke in mass event in India

The mass event was a ceremony attended by leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah.

The event was held in the open air and didn’t have shaded spaces in sweltering temperatures.

Weather experts have forecasted above-average temperatures for the next 3 months.

Meanwhile, environmental organizations have warned of the increase in temperatures in India posing risks of drought.
